B.2 Crossbar Unit


B.2 Crossbar Unit
The crossbar units of the SPARC M10-4S and the crossbar box are crossbar switches that logically connect the CPU memory unit and I/O unit. The crossbar unit has two operation modes. One is normal mode that provides 2-way operation. The other is degraded mode that provides 1-way operation, which is half of normal mode.
Table B-2 lists the specifications of the crossbar units in the SPARC M10-4S.
