2.4 Confirming Rack Specifications
Use a rack that meets the specified conditions for using the SPARC M10-4S with the 1BB configuration or using the SPARC M10-4S with direct connections between chassis.
If the SPARC M10-4S will be used with connections through crossbar boxes, an expansion rack with crossbar boxes mounted must be ordered.
The expansion racks are divided according to expandability as expansion rack 1 and expansion rack 2. For a configuration with up to 8 units connected, an order for expansion rack 1 is necessary. For a configuration with 9 to 16 units connected, an additional order for expansion rack 2 is necessary.
