3. Confirm the delivered components.
When setting up the BB configuration at the delivery site, confirm the set BB-ID on the operation panel. (*1)

7. After mounting the SPARC M12-2S, confirm the complete contact (complete engagement) of the internal storage, fan unit, and PCI cassettes.
At this time, confirm that the PCI cassette lever is locked.

10. Connect the XSCF BB control cable and the XSCF DUAL control cable to each SPARC M12-2S.     "4.2 Connecting XSCF Cables"

12. Connect the serial cable (*2) and LAN cables to the SPARC M12-2S.
Attach the core to the power cord, and connect the power cord to the power supply unit.

*1 Be sure to confirm the set BB-ID on the SPARC M12-2S operation panel before connecting and powering on the SPARC M12-2S with a BB configuration at the delivery site. The BB-ID will not be updated if only the BB-ID on the operation panel is changed. Be sure to connect the SPARC M12-2S with the set BB-ID on the operation panel.

*2 Connect the serial cable to the serial port of the SPARC M12-2S operating as the master XSCF.

*3 The probe-scsiall command and the show-devs command are displayed as command options in the diagnosis test. Confirm that the capacity and number of mounted disk units and the mounting locations and device names of the PCIe cards are correct.
