B.1 Crossbar Unit


B.1 Crossbar Unit
The crossbar unit is a crossbar switch that logically connects an I/O unit with the CPU memory unit of a physical partition chassis. The crossbar unit has two operation modes: normal and degraded. Normal mode provides 2-way operation. Degraded mode provides 1-way operation, which is half of normal mode.
Table B-1 lists the specifications of the crossbar unit of the crossbar box.
