10.3.1 Accessing the HDDBP
  1. Pull the SPARC M12-1 out of the rack.
    For details, see "5.8.3 Pulling the SPARC M12-1 Out From the Rack."
  2. Remove all the HDDs/SSDs and internal storage filler units mounted in the chassis.
    For details, see "9.3 Removing an HDD/SSD."
Note - Record the mounting locations of the HDDs/SSDs before removing them, to ensure that they are reinstalled correctly.
  1. Open the fan cover.

  2. Remove the upper cover.
