4.1.1 Confirming the hardware configuration


4.1.1 Confirming the hardware configuration
Execute the showhardconf command to confirm the configuration and status of the FRU mounted in the chassis. Before performing any maintenance work, check and record the hardware configuration of the chassis.
  1. Log in to the XSCF shell.
  2. Execute the showhardconf command to confirm the hardware configuration information.
The following information appears:
  1. Current configuration and status
  2. Number of mounted Field Replaceable Units (FRUs)
  3. Status of the unit in which a physical partition error or degradation occurred
  4. Information on the PCI expansion unit
  5. Name properties of the PCI Express (PCIe) card
The following is an example of executing the showhardconf command.
