The following table lists the problems resolved in version 1330 of the PCI expansion unit firmware.
RTI No. | RTIF2-190902-001 |
Model | SPARC M10-1, SPARC M10-4, SPARC M10-4S |
Description | You cannot use the following link cables (optical) when PCI expansion unit firmware 1310 or earlier is being used: Part number: 8204008 and CA66117-1002 These numbers are found on labels on the link cables (optical). If one of these cables is connected when the PCI expansion unit is powered on, the following error occurs: PCI Express lane is degraded PCI Express link speed is degraded |
Workaround | To use link cables (optical) with PCI expansion unit firmware 1310 or earlier, make sure to use ones with both "7061047" and "CA66053-1002" printed on their labels. With PCI expansion unit firmware 1330 or later, you can use all link cables. |
