If you use an XSCF Web version from XCP 2221 or earlier with Internet Explorer 10 or 11, you may see distorted screen layouts, such as disordered tables or superimposed characters. If you see a distorted XSCF Web screen layout in the above environment, use Firefox.
However, this problem does not affect system operation.
- Google Chrome
When using XSCF Web in a Google Chrome environment, if you select any menu under [Logs] and click the [Search] button immediately after XSCF login, a pop-up window may not appear. In this case, access another menu under [Logs], and then try again to display it.
- Microsoft Edge
If you use XSCF Web in a Microsoft Edge environment, the following problems may occur. Note that they do not occur in Internet Explorer Mode.- Following a session timeout as a result of inactivity on XSCF Web, if you select any menu under [Logs] and click the [Search] button immediately after logging in to the XSCF again, a pop-up window may not appear. In this case, access another menu under [Logs], and then try again to display it. If the pop-up window still does not appear, close the browser and then try again to display it.- A table frame may not be displayed on [Status] - [System Overview] from the menu, or on the [Log Monitor] or other monitoring screen. In this case, close the browser and then try again to display it.- A message displayed on the [Logs] - [Console Log] screen, [Logs] - [IPL Message Log] screen, or other screen may overflow the table frame. In this case, close the browser and then try displaying it again.
- Firefox
If you use XSCF Web in a Firefox environment, the browser may prompt you to save the login ID and password when you log in to the XSCF. In this case, do not save the login ID and password. If you save the login ID and password, the saved data may be displayed on LDAP, SMTP, and REMCS web pages.
Note - Remote Customer Support System (REMCS) is supported only for SPARC M10 systems sold within Japan by Fujitsu. |
- Configure either of the following settings to disable the login ID/password save function of the browser:- Disable the login ID/password save function throughout the browser. Select [Tools] - [Options] - [Security] tab, and uncheck [Remember passwords for sites] in [Passwords].- Specify the site as an exception to login ID and password saving. Select [Tools] - [Options] - [Security] tab, and check [Remember passwords for sites] in [Passwords]. Then, click the [Never Remember Password for This Site] button in the dialog box that appears for ID and password saving when you log in to the XSCF. This registers the address of the XSCF in the [Exceptions] list for ID and password saving, and the dialog box for ID and password saving does not appear at subsequent logins to the XSCF.
