The two ways of starting XSCF Remote Storage Server are as follows:
Starting XSCF Remote Storage Server From XSCF Web
Also, a Java Runtime Environment appropriate to the browser used with XSCF Web must be installed on the terminal. Table 1-10 lists combinations of browsers and Java Runtime Environments.
Browser | Java Runtime Environment (*1) |
---|---|
Microsoft Internet Explorer 8, 9 32-bit version | Java Runtime Environment 8, 32-bit version |
Microsoft Internet Explorer 8, 9 64-bit version | Java Runtime Environment 8, 64-bit version |
Microsoft Internet Explorer 10 and 11 | Java Runtime Environment 8, 32-bit version |
Mozilla Firefox 10.0 to ESR 52, 32-bit version | Java Runtime Environment 8, 32-bit version |
Microsoft Edge Internet Explorer Mode (*2) | Java Runtime Environment 8, 32-bit version |
*1 Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge (with Internet Explorer Mode disabled), and Mozilla Firefox ESR 60 or later do not support Java applets. Start XSCF Remote Storage Server with the Java command from a terminal. *2 After a Microsoft Edge update program is applied, you may not be able to start XSCF Remote Storage Server from XSCF Web using Internet Explorer Mode. Start XSCF Remote Storage Server with the Java command from a terminal. |
