Notes on LAN Switch Connections
We recommend connecting to a 10GBase-T switch when using a 10GbE LAN port.
The 10GbE LAN port can be connected to a switch that is not 10GBase-T. However, after taking the time to link up, the port may connect at 100 Mbps or may not be able to communicate, depending on the switch.
In that case, use a semi-crossed cable (T-568A on one end and T-568B on the other end).
Such cases do not happen with an XSCF-LAN port.
