Notes on a 2BB or Larger Configuration With the SPARC M12-2S
  1. The SPARC M12-2S (Fujitsu Product ID SPNCCAA1xx) and the SPARC M12-2S (Fujitsu Product ID SPNCCAA2xx) can be mixed. The SPARC M12 (Fujitsu Product ID SPNCCAA3xx) and the SPARC M12 (Fujitsu Product ID SPNCCAA4xx) cannot be mixed.

  1. To add a SPARC M12-2S (24 memory slots) into a SPARC M12-2S (16 memory slots) system with XCP 3080 or earlier, you need to first update the XCP firmware on the current system to XCP 3090 or later.
    When updating the XCP firmware with the physical partition powered on, you need to power off (stop the system) and then power on the physical partition to complete the CMU firmware update.
