6.14.2 Saving XSCF setting information
Save XSCF setting information.
This section describes procedures for saving XSCF setting information via a network and saving the setting information to a USB device.

- Specifying the target directory and saving the setting information via a network
- Specify the target directory and the output file name, and execute the dumpconfig command.
XSCF> dumpconfig ftp://server/backup/backup-file.txt |
- Confirm the identification information at the beginning of the saved configuration file when the data transfer has completed.
- Saving the setting information to a USB device on the master XSCF
- Connect a USB device to a USB port on the XSCF unit panel (rear panel) of the master XSCF.
- Specify the name of the output file for the local USB device on the XSCF, and execute the dumpconfig command.

- After the data transfer has completed, remove the USB device from the USB port.
- Confirm the identification information at the beginning of the saved configuration file.
- Configuration file format
The saved configuration file has the following format:
- File name: User-specified name
- File format: base64 encoding text
