RTI No. RTIF2-170209-001
Model SPARC M10-1, SPARC M10-4, SPARC M10-4S
Description In either of the following cases, in the PCI expansion unit, the POWER LED of the PCIe slot where the PCIe card is not mounted goes on by mistake.
- The SPARC M10-4S (system board) connected to the PCI expansion unit was added by the addboard(8) command using dynamic reconfiguration (DR) of physical partitions (PPARs) in a system having a building block configuration.

- The PCIe root complex connecting the PCI expansion unit was dynamically added/deleted using the ldm command of Oracle VM Server for SPARC.
Workaround There is no effective workaround.
[How to restore]
Execute any of the following actions to bring the state of the POWER LED of a PCIe slot back to normal.
- Reboot Oracle Solaris.

- Power off the PPAR.

- Incorporate a PCIe card using PHP
