PCI Devices Help

A list of PCI devices in the partition is displayed. Each displayed row represents a PCI function, so multi-function PCI cards are displayed on two or more rows.



Item Description
Unit Unit identification name
Status Integrated status of the PCI device and its connected individual subordinate devices. This includes the predicted fault status:
- OK: Operating normally
- Error: Serious problem such as a hardware failure has occurred.
- Warning: A problem will possibly occur.
- Unknown: PCI device status information is not available.
Device Name Name that combines the vendor name and device name
Device Class(hex) PCI Device class ID
Seg/Bus/Dev/Func Segment number, bus number, device number and function number

Operation

Item Description
Display details about the corresponding device
  1. Click a [Unit] item.
    - If Device Class=020000, the [Ethernet Controller] window is displayed.
    - If Device Class=010000, the [Storage Controller] window is displayed.
    - If Device Class=010400, the [RAID Controller] window is displayed.
    - If Device Class=0C0400, the [Fibre Channel] window is displayed.
    - For Device Class other than 020000, 010000, 010400 and 0C0400, the [Other PCI Device] window is displayed.
  2. Click the [Return] button in the displayed window to return to the PCI Devices display.
