Environmental Management System
Organization
Fujitsu Laboratories would conduct its environmental activities at three facility locations namely Kawasaki Area, Atsugi Area and Akashi Area under the direction of the chief environmental manager of Fujitsu Laboratories.
Annual activity cycle
Fujitsu Laboratories has established an environmental management system based on the ISO 14001 standards covering all facility locations. Our staff members use and continuously improve this environmental management system as they practice the Plan-Do-Check-Action cycle.
Implementation of Environmental Management System and information sharing using IT
Through our self-constructed environment management support system, we have implemented electronic processing to prepare/approve/store various documents such as action plans that were previously processed as printed documents.This new system facilitates inter and intra-department information exchange and sharing.
Further, at each location, Environmental Management Committee monthly meeting is held with attendance of the Chief Environmental
Manager of each facility and the representatives (Environmental Management Committee members ) of each department. They discuss
the objectives and progress of activities in the regular meeting.
