Activities to Reduce Environmental Impacts
Strict management of chemicals
Chemicals are likely to cause heavy environmental impacts. Our R&D centers use a wide variety of chemicals. In order to properly
manage all of these chemicals, we developed and use an original management system for chemicals.
This system for chemicals shifted to the system which Fujitsu group developed from the original system which We used conventionally
in 2006 and planned reinforcement and promotion of efficiency of registration and the management.
This system consisted of variety of information that includes physical properties, hazardous nature, procedures to follow
in case of a chemical spill or accident, related rules and regulations, and effects on the environment. Combined in a consistent
manner with an earnings and expenses management system and a purchasing system, this system enables strict management of chemicals.
