Intelligent Optimization
Fujitsu Laboratories will dynamically optimize societal systems and enterprise systems by forecasting social trends and customer trends through vast business data, sensor-based and web-based data.
With advancements in faster speeds for networks, lower-cost storage, and spread of distributed-processing technologies, there has been much attention paid to utilizing various types of cloud-based data – such as business data from numerous enterprises, various data from sensors, blogs, etc. - by analyzing and leveraging such data for new business opportunities and to provide solutions to social issues. Against a backdrop of a rapidly changing society and business environments, Fujitsu Laboratories conducts R&D of related technologies including for solutions to energy-related and environmental issues that impact society overall, and for optimization of business strategies within and between enterprises. Specifically, Fujitsu Laboratories makes possible real-time data analysis to enable accurate-estimate forecasts of the future, through its R&D for technologies including the following:
- Massive-data high-speed compression and search technologies
- High-speed processing technologies for pattern-specific spatio-temporal data
- High-precision forecasting of the future and probability-based optimization technologies based on such forecasts
