Management for each customer (tenant)
In AppRegion, the used resources are displayed per customer (tenant) per system by registering end users as tenants and allocating environment. As environments are shown per tenant, it enables operators to see the condition at a glance.

Multi-operator system management
AppRegion offers multi-operator control for system operation management and cross cutting control of multiple Windows Azure™ Platform subscriptions with multiple operators.
AppRegion offers convenient features such as access control and operation log to prevent incorrect operations.

Setup automation
AppRegion offers automatic setup. Once applications are registered, you are able to duplicate them easily. It enables you to allocate applications, even not a developer.

Operation automation
AppRegion executes scheduled regular processing automatically. It makes backups (database and Blob storage) automatic. Moreover, it has an autoscaling function - number of instances is changeable by schedule.
E-mail notice of auto execution reduces the burden of operation.

AppRegion has operational features, development features and system management features.

Operational Features

• Release Management (Application Management)
  Registers application modules (application information, package files, SQL scripts, and the files to be deployed in storage) to AppRegion collectively. As a result, the application is automatically set up on Windows Azure environment. This makes duplication of the environment easier.
• Environment Assignment
  Selects applications (solutions) to be provided for customers (tenants), and allocates the required resources (server, database and storage) to the customers.
• Setup
  Deploys and discards applications added to tenants by Environment Assignment. This feature also provides application upgrade.

• Dashboard
  Dashboard provides a view of operating conditions per tenant per application after Environment Assignment and Setup are completed, and then operation starts. You can start and stop servers, change the number of instances, refer to log data and backup databases and Blob storages.

• Schedule
  It executes server start-stop, database backup, Blob storage backup, and change of the number of instances at scheduled times. E-mail notice of auto execution results reduces the burden of operation.

Development Features

• Development Environment
  Resource conflict might happen when multiple people develop the Windows Azure application concurrently.
  For this case, you can find who is using which resources at a glance with this feature.
  Multiple users can use the environment efficiently through check-out (occupy) or check-in (release). It is also valid across multiple subscriptions.

System Management Features

• Access Control
  Restricts the available subscriptions for each user per role. It prevents unauthorized access or operational mistakes.
• Operation Log
  Collects and shows users’ operation log. It enables the audit of incorrect operation and the investigation into the causes of trouble.

1.How do you charge a fee for the Service?

• The fee for the Service shall be a fixed monthly fee. The monthly fee is charged on the first day of the month.
• The fee payment is made through the online payment service company (PayPal).

2.How do you calculate a fee for the month of the billing start date?
Calculation per diem for the month of the billing start date

• For the month in which the billing start date is included, the monthly fee for the Service shall be charged on the Contract conclusion date unless the billing start date is on the first day of the month. In such case, the monthly fee is calculated based on the following formula:
  Fixed monthly fee divided by thirty (30) (rounded down to the nearest yen) times the number of days remaining in the month from the billing start date.

You will be informed about start of the service within seven days of the contract conclusion date. The billing start date for fees incurred for the Service shall be the date seven (7) days after the Contract conclusion date.

3.How do I renew or cancel the contract?

• The contract of AppRegion will be automatically renewed for one more month unless you go through a procedure of cancellation.
• If you want to cancel the contract, go to the contact page above, fill out your contract ID issued at the time of the contract, purport of the cancellation and submit to us by the previous month of cancellation. We will contact you shortly.
• The fee for the month of cancellation shall be full amount.(No per diem calculation.)
  Example: In case you want to cancel on September 10;
       ・You need to apply for the cancellation by the end of August.
       ・Full amount of fee for September shall be charged on September 1.
