Final Message from the Chairman

I have served as Chairman of the Fujitsu Research Institute Economic Research Center for the last four years. I have delivered these "Messages from the Chairman" in both Japanese and English, and it is my hope that many of the readers will continue to honor FRI with your interest and various support. These four years have been extremely meaningful for my intellectual life, and it is with deep gratitude that I share my final message as Chairman of FRI. I will continue to offer my opinions to society through the Chiba University of Commerce homepage (http://www.cuc.ac.jp/), and look forward to more dialogue with my readers there.
