Material & Component Analysis for RoHS compliance
To respond to RoHS direction, increasing number of electric appliance manufacturers who export their goods to EU, are facing
to require their component/material vendors to submit analysis data that demonstrates the purchases (material) being restricted-hazardous
substance-free.
Fujitsu Quality Laboratory Ltd, based on evaluation /analysis technology developed by Fujitsu Laboratories Ltd, is proud of
abundant knowledge in material and chemical analysis technique. We implement analysis for environmentally restricted substance
including RoHS restricted substance, with high precision and prompt reporting.
About Material & Component analysis for RoHS compliance
Consulting for RoHS analysis
Despite the simplicity and effectivity of Florescence X-ray analysis, the data reading requires profound knowledge and high
skill in field of material and analysis. Based on accumulated technical know-how on material and abundant analysis data base,
our veteran staffs will consult you for appropriate target area to be analyzed, or how to best understand the data.
Screening analysis by means of fluorescence X-ray
By means of fluorescence X-ray, clarify if material/component contains restricted hazardous substance or not.

Precision analysis by means of ICP-AES
With wet degradation method applied to completely dissolve the material/component, and ICP-AES used for quantitative analysis of Cadmium, Lead, Mercury, and Chromium; we can provide the precise result regardless the trace amount of content.

Precision analysis by means of Spectrophotometer
Add testing chemical (diphenyl carbazide coloring agent) to extracted liquid specimen to induce chromogenic development, then measure absorbance for quantitative analysis of hexavalent chromium.

Precision analysis by means of GC-MS
After solvent extraction processing on material/component, employ GC-MS for quantitative /qualitative analysis of Brominated flame retardants (PBB and PBDE).
