September
- Takes over all Fujitsu Towa Electron sales operations.

- Takes over some Fujitsu sales operations
- Relocates headquarters to Suzaka, Nagano Prefecture.

April
- Transferred SAW devices sales and marketing from Toshiba Corp.

- Relocated the head office from Suzaka city, Nagano to Yokohama city, Kanagawa
- Fujitsu Media Devices Products Limited, consolidated the Suzaka office and Tohoku Media Device Corp., began operations.

- Established Fujitsu Media Devices Trading (Shanghai) Ltd. in Shanghai.
