Fujitsu Electronics Announces Executive Appointment

Tokyo, October 29, 2008 – Fujitsu Electronics Incorporated today announced the following executive changes:

1. （i）Tsuneaki Ohara, who has been a senior vice president of Fujitsu Limited, has been assigned as the new president and CEO of Fujitsu Electronics Incorporated, effective immediately.

At the same time, Haruki Okada, president and representative director of Fujitsu Microelectronics Limited, and a director of Fujitsu Limited, has been appointed as an external corporate director of Fujitsu Electronics Inc.

（ii） Shigeru Fujii has vacated his position as president and CEO of Fujitsu Electronics Inc., while remaining a corporate senior executive vice president of Fujitsu Microelectronics Ltd.

June 2005	Fujitsu Corporate Vice President In charge of Global Accounts, Global Business Group.
June 2006	Fujitsu Corporate Vice President In charge of Kansai/Tokai Region, Regional Business Group. President, Tokai Regional Sales Unit.
June 2007	Fujitsu Corporate Vice President Executive Vice President, Industries & Distribution Solutions Business Group.
June 2008	Fujitsu Senior Vice President President, Industries & Distribution Solutions Business Group.
